COLLECTION SCHEDULE & SHIPPING
Metallic Heaven's 2025 breeding season runs from March 3rd 2025 to August 1st 2025. Collection days are Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and shipped via FedEx Priority Overnight. You must CALL for semen by 8am MST the day prior to shipment. Text messages, Facebook messages, and Emails are not appropriate methods to order semen and your order will not be processed without a phone call.

You will receive a minimum of 1 dose of semen with a minimum of 1 billion progressively motile cells in the dose.
Please make sure your reproduction specialist is managing your mare's cycle and that she is ready for semen when you call to order. I like to ensure mares are ready to breed on a Tuesday or Thursday to avoid potential delays with FedEx Saturday delivery, which may not be available in your area.

Metallic Heaven's foals out of Quarter Horse mares are eligible for AQHA, and PtHA registration. Metallic Heaven's foals out of American Paint Horse mares are eligible for APHA, and PtHA registration. If the mare is double registered AQHA/APHA, the resulting foal is eligible for AQHA, APHA, and PtHA registration. Metallic Heaven is an APHA Approved breeding stallion.
REGISTRATION & INCENTIVE DEADLINES & FEES
Both AQHA and APHA increased their registration fees as of January 2023. It is imperative that you register your foal as soon as possible to avoid late fees for registration.

What is Metallic Heaven's genetic panel status?Metallic Heaven is 6 panel negative. He is NEGATIVE for the following diseases: HYPP, PSSM1, MH, GBED, MYHM, OLWS. Metallic Heaven carries one recessive copy of herda making him N/Hrd. When bred to a Herda negative mare, there is a 50% chance of him passing on one copy of herda to the foal, resulting in an unaffected foal that carries one copy of the recessive gene.

Has Metallic Heaven been color tested?Metallic Heaven has been tested: Agouti A/a Heterozygous: Horse carries one copy (Aa) of the Agouti gene and has a chance to pass it on to all offspring. Red/Black Factor e/e Homozygous Red: Horse carries two copies of the Red gene and will have a red base coat.

What are Metallic Heaven's collection days and how do I order semen?Metallic Heaven's collection days are Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. All calls for semen must be made by 8am Mountain Standard Time on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays to secure your spot on the list for the following day. If you miss the cutoff time you may not be able to get semen depending on the number of mares we are shipping to that day. All calls for semen must be made by phone to (307) 899-5374. Please do not text or email requests for semen as they may be missed. Cancellations must be received by 8am MST the day of collection (Monday, Wednesday, Friday).
